A quick overview of the areas, in which the law firm renders legal advice, can be found here under “About Us” – “Legal Advice”. You can view more detailed descriptions under the separate menu item “Areas”.
2. What is an initial consultation and how does it work?
An initial consultation is a flat-rate, approximated, introductory consultation. In other words, an initial consultation in which the case can be classified, problematic aspects and requirements identified, and their further processing coordinated. In principle, this does not include that the lawyer conducts research or summarizes the initial consultation in writing (BGH, decision as of 03 May 2007 – Ref. I ZR 137/05)
Contact us, using respective contact details or the contact form at menu item “Contact”. Subsequently, we will contact you to coordinate an initial consultation appointment. During this coordination call information (e.g. drafts, contracts or evidence) can be discussed, which is required for the initial consultation.
In accordance with § 34 RVG, a fee of EUR 190.00 is charged for an initial consultation with consumers and € 250.00 for an initial written assessment for these clients. Further advice is based either on the fees of the RVG (usually on the value of the object) or on the fee agreement.
Generally, in the case of (especially extensive cases for) business clients, a time-based fee agreement is made.

Naturally, the chances of success are individual. The prospects of success of a client’s legal matter can, therefore, as a rule, only be determined after an individual assessment.
After an initial assessment and, if necessary, further examination of complex legal questions, assessment of evidence or the scope of an application, the chances can be assessed.
6. How quickly can I get an appointment?
Our clients appreciate quick responses to urgent concerns. During the initial contact, an appointment for an initial consultation will be set. Timelines are also based on current workload.
7. Is my data secure?
Data is processed and saved in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Data Protection Act, the legal profession and/or the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
8. Do you take cases outside Germany’s jurisdiction?
We generally take on cases within German and Thai jurisdictions. Audio and video conferences are supported.
9. How will our collaboration look like?
Case management is based on the requirements of each individual mandate.
Of course, there are similarities with regard to coordinating initial contact, the subsequent professional filing and ongoing legal support of the mandate by a central legal focal person.
Communication channels can be adapted to the client’s needs.
10. Do you also represent in court?
We also represent you in legal disputes before German and Thai (civil, labor, administrative and fiscal) courts.
