Necessary Information for Company Setup (Co., Ltd.)

Clients often ask which informaton is required to set up a Private Limited Company in Thailand. While each case is to be considered on an individual level, minimum information includes:

• The company name
• Form of company seal (design)
• The office location
• Financial information: Especially initial share capital, its division into shares, the par value of these shares, company bank account details, fiscal year
• Directors: Signing authority, name, age, nationality, occupation, address, telephone and email
• Shareholders: Share quota, name, age, nationality, occupation, address, telephone and email

Please consider that setting up a Thai limited company (Co., Ltd.) requires a minimum of three shareholders. Subject to shareholder’s nationality additional obstacles may arise.
